PipeElectric is a Houston plumbing company built around a simple way of working: explain the problem in plain words, give a clear quote, do the job and leave the place clean. Our customers have given us a 5.0 rating across 18 Google reviews, and those reviews say it better than we could.

How we work

We try to run every job the same way, whether it is a dripping faucet or a slab leak:

  1. You call and tell us what is going on, and a person picks up during business hours.
  2. We look at the problem before we talk about price.
  3. We explain what we found, in plain words, and what your options are.
  4. You get a clear, upfront quote before work starts.
  5. We do the work, clean up and walk you through what we did.

What customers notice

Across 18 Google reviews, the same things keep coming up. People mention arriving on time, plain explanations, fair pricing and no mess left behind. One customer wrote that the plumbers "made sure I understood what was going on during the entire process."

We also work hard to leave you better informed. A reviewer named Diego wrote that the plumber "gave useful tips," and that is what we want every customer to take away, along with the fix itself.

The services we offer

Most of what we do falls into a few groups. Plumbing repair covers leaks, fixtures, gas lines and repipes. Drain and sewer covers clogs, camera inspections and line repair. Water heaters covers repair, replacement and tankless. We also handle water quality and commercial plumbing.

What customers have hired us to fix

The written reviews give a fair picture of the work. One customer needed a gas leak found, and the technician "located the gas leak" and repaired it. Another had a new water heater installed and noted "no mess left behind." Others called about a slow kitchen sink and a small leak under the sink. Those are ordinary jobs, and ordinary jobs are most of plumbing. You can read each one, in the customer's own words, on our reviews page.

How we talk about price

We do not publish a price list, because two jobs that sound the same on the phone can need very different work. A leak under open flooring and a leak under tile are not the same repair. So we look first and quote second. When this site gives a cost figure, it is a market figure with the source named, and it is there to help you judge any quote you get, ours included. Our plumbing cost guide shows how those numbers break down.

Why this work is different in Houston

Plumbing here answers to the ground and the weather. Expansive clay swells after rain and shrinks in dry spells, which moves slabs and the pipe under them. The area gets about 53 inches of rain a year, according to NOAA climate normals, and hard freezes are rare but severe, as February 2021 showed. Permit rules change too: the City of Houston has its own, and each suburb runs its own office. Our Houston plumbing guide covers all of this in one place, and we wrote it so you can make a good decision with or without us.

Where we work

We are based in Houston and serve the surrounding region, including Harris, Fort Bend, Montgomery, Galveston and Brazoria counties. Our service areas page lists every community, with what shapes the plumbing in each one.

Our phones are answered Sunday through Thursday from 7 AM to 8 PM and Friday from 7 AM to 6 PM. We are closed Saturday. The number is (321) 559-0657, and you can also find us on Facebook.
